Intro to Research & Statistics

This course is designed to provide students with a foundational understanding of research methodologies and statistical analysis. Students will learn the basics of data collection, organization, analysis, interpretation, and presentation. The course covers research terminology, quantitative, qualitative, and mixed methods approaches, and the components of the literature review process. Additionally, students will learn how to critically analyze published research.

Attendance

Regular attendance is highly recommended. Participation in all course activities and discussions is expected. If you are unable to attend a class, please notify the instructor beforehand if possible.

Passing Mark

 Successful completion of this course requires that students achieve a minimum of 60% or higher. All evaluations must be completed and handed in on time for a course grade. Attendance will account for 10% of the final mark.
