Clinic - CLIN 1201

The Clinic – CLIN 1201 course focuses on developing the practical skills required to conduct acupuncture treatments while upholding patient dignity and rights. It covers various aspects of professional practice, including maintaining patient records, adapting clinical settings for patient comfort and safety, and continuously monitoring and modifying treatment plans for effectiveness. Students will also learn how to educate and counsel patients on Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) concepts and compliance with treatment recommendations.

Attendance

Regular attendance is highly recommended. Participation in all course activities and discussions is expected. If you are unable to attend a class, please notify the instructor beforehand if possible.

Passing Mark

Successful completion of this course requires that students achieve a minimum of 60% or higher. All evaluations must be completed and handed in on time for a course grade. Attendance will account for 10% of the final mark.
