This course comprises two sections. The first section builds upon the TCM Anatomy I, II, and III to introduce various methods of point selection and combination. The second section delves into advanced acupuncture techniques related to microsystems, including various acupuncture styles and specialized microsystems.

Regular attendance is highly recommended. Participation in all course activities and discussions is expected. If you are unable to attend a class, please notify the instructor beforehand if possible.

Successful completion of this course requires that students achieve a minimum of 60% or higher. All evaluations must be completed and handed in on time for a course grade. Attendance will account for 10% of the final mark.

• Have a solid understanding of various acupuncture styles and microsystems.
• Proficiently identify and locate key acupuncture points and zones in these microsystems.
• Understand the functions and indications of the acupuncture points and zones.
• Be skilled in applying needling methods and techniques specific to each acupuncture style or microsystem.
• Effectively recognize and apply contraindications and precautions for safe and effective treatment.
