Microsystems
This course comprises two sections. The first section builds upon the TCM Anatomy I, II, and III to introduce various methods of point selection and combination. The second section delves into advanced acupuncture techniques related to microsystems, including various acupuncture styles and specialized microsystems.
Attendance
Regular attendance is highly recommended. Participation in all course activities and discussions is expected. If you are unable to attend a class, please notify the instructor beforehand if possible.
Passing Mark
Successful completion of this course requires that students achieve a minimum of 60% or higher. All evaluations must be completed and handed in on time for a course grade. Attendance will account for 10% of the final mark.
Learning Objectives

- Identify and locate key acupuncture points and zones in these microsystems.
- Explain the functions and indications of the acupuncture points and zones.
- Apply appropriate needling methods and techniques for each acupuncture style or microsystem.
- Recognize contraindications and precautions related to the application of these techniques.
