Microsystems – MICR 2102 (60 Hours)
This course includes two sections. The first section builds up on the TCM Anatomy I, II, III to introduce various methods of point selection and combination. The second section continues to teach advanced acupuncture techniques related to the microsystems of the ear, scalp, eye, face, nose, hand, foot and wrist-ankle. Students will be guided on how to apply previously learned needling and stimulation techniques to these acupuncture systems.
Ear & Scalp acupuncture
- Describe the theoretical basis for ear acupuncture.

- Describe the functions of auricular acupuncture points.
- Describe the theoretical basis for scalp acupuncture.
- Identify scalp acupunture zones.
- Locate scalp acupuncture zones.
- Describe the functions of scalp acupuncture zones.

- Describe acupunture point assessment techniques, and relate them to jing luo theory.
- Describe the diagnostic significance of acupuncture point assessment techniques, and relate them to the jing luo theory
