Diagnosis of TCM 3 – DIAG 2203 (60 Hours)

This is the third part of the Diagnosis of TCM. This course is to build upon the first two parts of the course then differentiate the bing yin (etiology), bing ji (pathogenesis) and introduce zhi ze (principles of treatment), and yu fang (prevention), with a bit of yang sheng (health preservation).

Establish treatment plan based on diagnosis.

  • Determine treatment goals and strategies.
  • Identify the principles of treatment corresponding to pathogenic processes.

  • Communicate TCM diagnostic and treatment information for use by other health care workers, and to third parties.
  • Explain patient’s TCM diagnosis and clinical progress using terms that are readily understood by other healthcare professionals.
